Saba Shioyaki

mackerel fillet
sea Salt
oil
lemon wedges
grated daikon
light soy sauce

1) Marinate mackerel fillet with sea salt for 10-20 min. Since mackerel is a firm fatty fish, u can actually marinate it way before hand.

2) Heat up your griddle pan.

3) Sprinkle some sea salt on the mackerel and lightly coat the fillet with oil.

4) Grill on the griddle pan skin side down for 5-7 min till skin is crisp & golden brown.

5) Turn over the fillet and cook for another 2-3 min.

6) Serve with lemon wedges, grated daikon and light soy sauce.
