Shepherd's Pie

1 kg of Minced Beef
800g - 1kg of carrots (depends on how much veg u want, you can also add peas if you like)
1.5 Mid size Onion
4-5 garlic
1 Knorr Chicken Cube
Pepper/Salt to taste
Rosemary spice
Some light soy sauce
1.5 kg of potatoes (about 8-10 mid size potatoes)
Milk (About 400-500 ml, depends on liking)
butter (about 1/4 of the butter or depending on how buttery you want the mash)

1) Boil potatoes till soft
- Peel, then mash
- add in the butter and some salt...mash until butter is melted..then add in the milk and mash till smooth

2) Dice the carrots, onions and garlic

3) In a wok, add oil and fry the onions and garlic

4) add in the carrots and fry for about 5 min...on mid flame, then add the minced beef, salt/pepper, soy sauce, chicken cube and rosemary. Fry for another 5-10 mins on mid flame to soften the carrots..

5) once cooked, add to tray, and then cover with mash

6) preheat the over on high (200) for 10-15 min, then put in the pie at 200 degrees for about 30 mins or until top is brown then lower to 180 for another 10-15 min.
