Macaroni & Cheese with Ham

serving for 4

big elbow macaroni 2 cups
butter 2 tbsp
flour 2 tbsp
ham 2 slices (cut into short thin strips)
milk 2 cups
grated cheddar cheese 2 1/4 cups
salt & pepper

1) boil 6 cups of water then add macaroni & cook till tender. drain & set aside.
2) melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
3) stir in flour for abt 3min till frothy.
4) add milk slowly & stir continuously till thickens (but not boiling) over medium high heat.
5) turn off the fire.
6) stir in cheddar cheese & mix well.
7) add salt & pepper according to taste.
8) add ham & macaroni. mix well.
9) pour the mixure into a baking pan & bake at 180 degree celcius for 20-30min.
