Roast Chicken


Chicken thighs/ drumsticks/ wings

Marinate:
0.5 cup soy sauce
1tbsp chopped ginger
1tbsp chopped garlic
4tbsp honey
2tbsp 5-spice powder
2tbsp hua-tiao wine
1tbsp sesame oil
1.5tsp salt
0.5tsp pepper
750ml water

Method:
1. bring marinate to a boil
2. add clean chicken and boiled for briefly for 2mins
3. off the fire and leave it to soak for min. 2hrs
4. Preheat oven at 180°C.
5) Place the marinated chicken on a roasting try and bake them in the oven for 20mins. Turn the chicken and bake for another 15 mins or until the chicken is cooked through.
